Help No Power To Fuel Pump
Ok, I took the engine out of my car over the winter and changed the Automatic engine harness I was using to a Manual engine harness. I also changed the entire floor harness in my car so I could have power windows. As of now I have a 98 EX (Canadian SI) engine harness, 97 (EX/SI) Dash Harness and a 98 (EX/SI) Floor harness. Now when I turn the key I get power to the ignition, I can turn the car over, I'm pretty sure its firing but haven't checked that yet. I hear the fuel pump relay click and then click off after a few seconds, but no activity at the fuel pump. I checked to see if there was any current and nothing. Is there one place I can run a wire directly from the fuel pump relay? or does anyone know where I should be looking.
you can get the wire directly at the fuel pump and supply a +12 volts to it, make sure you are connecting it to the correct wire, not the ground wire, and make sure the ground wire is grounded
Make sure to double check all of your grounds in the engine bay. I think you may have missed one when installing the new harness.
Edit: Also the pump only powers for 2 seconds at first and then power is shut off from it. You will have to check for power while someone else turns the key.

Ok, No big deal, it was a bad ground wire at the fuel pump for some reason, after playing around with it I got it working, car started like a champ. Thanks for the help
