Default Need 4th gen axle help...

I've always used 90-93 teg axles and intermediate shafts for these swaps but I might be doing a swap for a friend and he already has an axle set and intermediate shaft from a 00si. Could I use this setup? Would I need to change out any of the axle seals on the tranny? I've been told different stuff from different people, can someone clarify this for me.

Thanks
Kevin
