Default "Spoon" VIS CF Lip Install EK

Ok i just bought this VIS spoon replica front lip and cant figure out how to install this thing if it saved my life. what do i need to do to mount the lip on the bumper. I thought installation was just like that of the SI,Mugen/"moogen" and the CTR except it acutally bolted from the bottom of the lip to the bumper rather then the sides like most front lips. Here are some pics of it....

I dont know it looks like near the top portion of the wont sit flush with the bumper.

look like its for 96-98? i think you have to drill and make your own holes, unlike the one you've seen on SIs.

basically get the two-sided tape(i don't know the name of it sorry) which you can find at any local car stores (red stripe on blackish tape; its made for car/bodykit use), so then u can stick the lip on the bumper, then you gotta drill holes and put some screws.

no dont use tape you dont need it!!!!!!!!!! just have someone hold the lip for you on the bumper and useing the same holes the si lip uses match about 5-6 holes and mark yor lip then pull the lip off and drill those holes out then get some bolts and nuts and lock washers and screw it all together it takes a little time but when the car is lowered (you have to jack up, makes it easier") its very hard to take off hence nobody stealing it if you have any ??????? just ask

Yeah it looks like you need to put your own holes etc.
Alot easier if you had someone else helping you (holding the lip etc.), but if your doing this on your own, try getting finding another lip from someone or store and see where the holes were placed. Just an idea

That lip hangs down way too low. It looks good but I would never use it for street. Its not smooth like a track.

It seems to be about .25in smaller in width than the bumper. I know the fakies generally need some "muscle"to fit properly around the bumper.
Can the CF lip be pulled to fit properly on the bumper without breaking it?

if u want to make it easier just take off the bumper and do it like that then place the bumper back.

same thing with my fake *** type r lip on thbe EG. you just gotta pull it hella hard evenly like fromt he other side to the center to your side and you should have that extra .25 inches. i dont think it will crack. you can try to use a blow dryer ont he whole lip to get it a little soft then try
