upgrading brakes on del sol
I have read every brake topic in this section and found that different people give different info. I also did not see my specific question answered so I dont want a bunch of "used the search n00b" replys. So here it is:
I have a 1994 del sol Si. I need to know if I can upgrade to larger brakes from an integra WITHOUT switching knuckes. Its that simple. Just let me know my options (if any).
Thanx in advance.
One more question I saw mixed responses on:
Is my Si knuckle the same as a 92-95 Ex knuckle even though the brakes on the Ex are much larger?

use the search n00b
NAH NAH NAH
You would need to buy an Integra, 94-95 Civic Si/EX, or 94-97 Del Sol VTEC knuckle for an upgrade. They all use 10.25" rotors, but the Integra has a bigger caliper. Your knuckle and the EX knuckles are different.
OR
You can make custom caliper brackets to use on your knuckle and buy Integra rotors.

I believe there are companies that make big brake kits using your knuckle.
