Default Eval my used front tire for me please, I want to reuse it

OK, last summer I bought a new set of Metzeler Pilots (I think, forgot to look) and made a trip out to seattle on my bike. I also did alot of other trips (many hours of highway droning, not much corner carving) and come October, the rear had a belt showing, so I got another set. In an effort to keep motorcycle maintenance costs to a reasonable level, I would like to buy another Pilot rear and use this tire that I still have. Here's pics...

The front tire should be fine. I don't see that you'll be using it much, since you've got the pimp scooter now.

haha, correct again sir! The scooter gets 80 mpg in town and is less of a handful, YZF only gets 25-30... the YZF still has a mission though.... high-speed long distance sport-touring trips

Tire is starting to cup some but for straight line commuting should get ya another 1k miles or so.

That was one of the main things I didn't like bout that tire - good mileage but cupped pretty significantly before wear bars were close to showing.

You'll be amazed at how much easier the bike handles after ya put the new front on though.

Wow just another 1000 miles? Seems like it would be a waste of time to re-use it then..

Dunno - conservative guess???

Mebbe more in it but the cupping will worsen until one day ya roll out the bike and think ya got knobbies on her.

You gotta be runnin tose things bout 40 psi - right?
