So i hear alot about this "HONDATA" chip that you suppose to put into your ECU. What exactly does it do and when do you need to put a HONDATA in? Just curious if the HONDATA would make a different in a stock JDM B16A 1st gen with a 92-95 DEL SOL ECU?
if you have bolt on mods you can gain from 5-15 extra hp with proper tunning of the hondata + if you start modding the engine more you will be able to tune for the mods, hondata in not just a chip its software that allows you to tune your ecu for any given mods ,turbo,supercharger,n2o,and yes you can even gain a lil hp on a stock engine the original honda ecu mapping is very conservitive i.e fuel economy and reliablity
hondata is a fuel management system you can find out more at hondata.com they offer other options like full throttle shift and rev limiters for lauch it wont do much to a stock car but with other mods like forced induction you should get something that can control fuel however there are a lot of other options (cheaper) being used here on h-t like chrome and uberdata do some research on these as well....
