Default arp head bolt retorqe?

i have about 4k on my freshly built motor. is it essential to retorque the head stud nuts? I have an oem gasket with arp studs. i havent done a compression check yet due to laziness of looking for it in the shed. But it looked like there was very little oil where the head meets the block. But that could be oil from the installation because the oil is still very clean but who knows. both the block and head were resurfaced to ensure straightness. Has anyone have to retorque them before?
