weight?
The State of Rhode Island reports a Gross Vehicle Weight of 3570 pounds.
That's Computed as configured:
Full tank of gas.
A Full compliment of 160lb passangers* (Fat Louis doesn't count)

*where can you find anyone 160 or less in the REAL world?

What P_Adams means is the Gross weight is the car's weight, plus a full 17 gallon tank at 6lbs per gallon, plus all five passengers that the accord accomodates, at 160lbs each, gives you a grand total of 3570lbs. Subtract the 102lbs of gas, and 800lbs worth of passengers, and you come up with a generous 2668lbs.

Which once again ignites the GVW weight against the Curb Weight controversy. Considering how both are interpreted, how the math is massaged and who you're listening to; it's surprising both end up pretty damn close.
Let's just leave it that Accords could stand to loose a 'few' pounds (some describe them as 'Fat Asses) and call it a day.

i will be breaking into 2600s after i fully rid my car of ps accessories and my windshield fluid resevoir and crap. also, nrg cell batter is a good 20+ lbs lighter than my current civic battery. my itr wheels also weigh around 12lbs, a sig amount lighter than my old wheels. ill have a new number up in a couple weeks.
I'd like to pose another question while we're on the subject. Since they need replacing anyway, how much of a weight difference is there between the OEM hood on a 6th Gen coupe vs an OEM Carbon Fiber hood? And the same question pertaining to the trunk lid. Also, how well does paint/primer adhere to a CF panels? If they can be had for cheap, I'd like to go this route and paint them the car's color.

a cf hood could save you around 35lbs(correct me if im wrong) but a trunk lid would not save you as much and would not be ideal for weight distribution. Paint adheres just as well to carbon fiber as it does to oem panels if its done right.

I can't speak to the weight difference since I've never seen any weights published for either the CF hoods or the OEM types.
Perhaps a call to a CF Hood manufacturer will scare up that info for you.
Painting them is another matter, I believe they use a polyester resin (much like fiberglas), just use a primer compatable with polyester fiberglas resin. When you wet sand the gloss off be careful you don't sand to the woven carbon strands.
Wash off with prep-sol
paint as you would a fiberglas hood
