Default How much HP would port and polishing give me?

With a skunk2 stage 2 cam in a d16y8 engine how much HP would i be pushing??? with just exhaust to add a little more.

PnP is not made to really give you all that much hp. its there to make everything you bolton give you more gains since your motor is breathing better.

Maybe 1 HP. If you're lucky. Instead of spending $1000 on that, you should put that money towards a good low boost turbo setup, like around 7-9 psi. You'll see 50-100 times the horsepower of a pnp. That's your best investment.

i was thinking about that too i was just wondering i was bored in class an figured id ask some questions that id been wanting to know the answers too. First i got to get my license back and get the engine in my car replaced. But how much would a relatively cheap turbo setup cost me? Ive heard people say that can make them for like 500 bucks. Whats the downfall to them if any?

low boost homemade turbo set ups can range from the thousands, to just a few hundred, my first homemade tubo setup costed roughly 480 when complete, its just a matter of having patience to find good parts cheap.
