Default how to clean intake mani while on car

I have a b18b and after removing the intake today i saw alot of black tarry stuff. I dont have enough time to go rippin it off and cleaning it that way. So my question is this how do u clean the whole intake mani when its on the car?

I searched and saw that most ppl who had the intake situation like me took it off and used brake clean, simple green, dishwasher...etc. noone really left it on.

thanks

Do you want to clean the inside or outside? If its the inside, use seafoam deep creep or carb cleaner.

I want to clean the inside of the intake mani. I dont wanna use seafoam. I just wanna spray something in there that will clean it out and not have any damage to the motor. its my daily driver and its all i got so it cant go down. Whats the difference in the deep creep as compared to the seafoam? Is it just the sprayable version?

okay this is wat i got, i bought throttle body cleaner in a spray can from a locall parts store(canadian tire) lol. and while the car is runing, u open ur intake and u spray that in there, to avoid the car to turn off, push the gas liver a little. that thing cleans the inside of the throttle body and intake mani real good.

Then you have to take off your intake manifold. You want it to go in your intake manifold, but not the rest of your engine?

Edit: Ok i gave it some more thought, if you had a duster and sprayed some seafoam on that, you could swab that around in there just like your ears

Get throttle body cleaner not carb cleaner. There is a difference, I forget what it is, but there is a diference. I think it has something to do with some sensors or something.
