EGR valve
i have a 95 accord coupe, i place a statement here a few days ago about this issue, i just ordered an egr control selonoid and will be here friday, i already put a new egr value on this vehicle. just wonder if the ports are clogged. a did a lil test myself to see if they were, so please tell me will this work. i took off the egr value and cranked the car up. it seemed to be passing air good to me, didnt no black sutt come out or nothing... thanks for your time
only way to know for 100% is to remove fuel rail and service cover under it.
If the car stumbles between 1500-2300 rpm then you can have a good bet that they are.

yeah i think it does do that stumble like, at that rpm its kind of sluggish. and it also takes a while to come to its idle. and if i put it in gear before its idle, it jumps into gear real hard
Clogged EGR ports will NOT cause the car to stumble. Period. If you take a large syringe or hand vaccum pump and apply a vaccum to the EGR at idle, the car will stumble if the ports are NOT clogged. If the ports are clogged, there will be no change in the idle. The only stumbling that is associated with the EGR happens when the valve is carboned up and will not close properly. This condition allows exhaust gasses to pass to the intake at idle and low RPM acceleration. Clogged ports would not allow the exchange of these gasses and there would be no stumbling.
