My car idles funny
My car idle fluctuates up and down when it's on neutral, but when it is on gear it idles normally. What could be wrong??? I am thinking that it could be the idle control valve, fast idle, or a vacuum leak. Anyone encounter something like this before.

could be everything you mentioned,amonst other things too like coolant that has an air pocket in it.only thing to really do it start eliminating things.
