Default y8 dd build

i'm going to be building an all motor d16y8. before anyone says just swap i'm wasting my money, i'm not doing this to have the fastest civic. this is more or less a learning expierience. building an all motor d is cheaper than buying a swap and then on top of that building that engine. i was thinking of runnin somewhere around 11:1- 11.5:1 comp. but will that be ok for a daily driven car? maybe like 10.5:1? also i want to put sleeves in and bore out to 78 or 79mm. will that make it any less reliable? thanks for any info
