so i baught this 96 ex all stock for $750....they told me it had a bad clutch....i knew it was the trans so i replaced it with a z6 trans i had laying around....when i go to open the tranny i find the input shaft is sheered in half just on the inside of the casing. the rest of the tranny is fine. how the hell did this happen????

i would understand if it had a 4 puck, forged internals, and a huge turbo....but stock? im lost.
