Definitely 195/55-15, which is your stock size. It preserves the accuracy of your speedometer and odometer, preserves looks, won't rub, etc.

The way I see it, a wider contact patch will help your acceleration and braking, a longer contact patch will help your handling. Since the 205's are only making a slightly wider contact patch than the 195's I had to rule them out. The 195's provide a longer contact patch than the 205's. As far as total contact patch, the 195's provide more. The 195's get my vote.
so..
205 = help your acceleration and braking
195 = better handling ??
is that correct ?
thanks for your help.

No.
You won't be able to notice any difference in acceleration, braking, or handling between 195/55 and 205/50 of the same tire.
If the tire you want is offered in 195/55, get 195/55. It will probably be cheaper. If it's not offered in 195/55, get 205/50.
Or, you can keep asking your question over and over and over and over and over again, and you still won't get a different answer...

Theoretically yes.
In all actuality, no. The difference between the two sizes is so slight that no road going driver would notice different handling characteristics between them. As *nsxtasy* stated decide on the tire that you want to run, and if available in a 195/55 size get it, if only offered in a 205/50 that's okay too.
