Default f series Vtec or NOT???

ok so which of the to motors has more potential?? which one has more parts available??

which ones are you talking about? f22b2 = non-tec and f22b1 = vtec ... both have about the same amount of parts available, since they are basically the same engine

Within the last year, more and more Hard Core engine parts have become available for the F22 family of engines. Now that there's enough motorheads driving these thing to make it economically viable. If there were as many F22's around as there are Chevy 350's, you'd be swimming in h/p stuff.

The b1 varient is a good base for a N/A engine
The b2 varient is a good start for a boosted project

Both have a ductile iron sleeve / wet deck design
If you should damage a cylinder, it's repairable.

which trim? EX, LX, DX?

LX and DX came with the F22B2 engine.
EX came with the F22B1 engine.

Either of those are good choices, just depends on what your plans are.

It seems as if our little Accord secret has gotten out!

Hopefully prices wont go up in these motors. Any of hte F series are good for boost. Id boost if on a F series.

Bisi does have the fastest all motor sohc with a F22a.
