Default What sort of parts are involved in a engine overhaul?

What is a engine overhaul, what parts does it involve, and how much does it usually cost?

You're being incredibly vague.

You should start with getting at least a Haynes manual from autozone for around $15-20, and then decide if you're going to do a minor or major overhaul, as well as what you need to replace.

Are you tearing apart a motor and then putting it back together?

if it's a D series, it's usually cheaper and easier just to replace it with a used one.

Unless your going to build it and boost it.

OP. if you aren't sure how to do it get professional help.
