Default Why do most turbo imports come with side feed?

I've noticed this that almost all import turbos have side feed they have a larger opening too for fuel to enter, they also look to handle higher fuel pressure.

Side feed:

300zx Rx-7

Supra

Mr2

STI

Can someone tell me more about them.

* Called RCeng pretty interesting.

Side feeds can be made to flow larger easier.

They could modify 440cc side feed Mr-2 IN.J and have them flow 1000cc.

Since fuel enters it in the middle there also kept cooler.

I guess my question is anwsered.
