How does it sound without a cat or a resonator?

Just curious to know if its gonna be really loud.. or should I just try it anyways to see how it is

go ahead and get it, that is the exact same setup i have. havent put it on the car yet but if all else fail just get a new muffler with baffle in it to soften up the sound.

 

I have it with a cat and resonator, sounds really nice but there is a drone on the highway. I've gotten used to it though. I was aiming for 3" system that didn't sound like a bee hive and this did the trick. Ive very happy with the results. I can post a sound/vid clip if anyone is interested.

No cat here but I do have the resonator. Love it.

I think it would be too loud without resonator.

 

Here it is, hope this helps some. The cat already broke so I have another 14" resonator waiting to be made into a test pipe! It is totally intact, the core just seperated from the shell so it won't affect the sound.

I can get another clip up once the second resonator is in if you wish, it may be a week or so thought.

nice thats the same exact one that i have... the only difference is that I dont have a cat and I only have one resonator... instead of a cat I just put a "test pipe" straight pipe on there... sounds nice... what motor... I can never get my bov to go off when I'm just revving it in nuetral... anyways... good sound

Plus with the 2step i can build about 5psi when launching at 3000-4000rmps/

 

cat is out and the second 14" resonator is in, it sounds exactly the same!
