B18C1 obd1 sensor W/ Obd2B harness PLEASE HELP.
I don't have the OBD1 harness at all
. I have allready changed the dizzy, alternator, fuel injectors to obd2b. and also have a obd2b to obd1 harness for the ecu and a P72 ecu.
What is that plug next to it the one with the black cap on it i think that is the same fitment as the other sensor that i circled.

Yes that is the IAT circled, the sensor next to it is the.....evap purge solenoid..... i think that is the correct name for it, do a search on here for purge solenoid and you can find that one, and the IAT also and find some threads that might help you figure out what to do with them
hope this helps

You circled the IAT.. Intake Air Temp sensor.. Don't use it.. OBD2-A-B use an External version located in the intake tube (Square 2 terminal plug).. if you change the IAT plug to use the manifold mounted unit, the OBD2 ECU will run the engine a little lean due to heat saturation through the intake manifold..
OBD2 IAT

OBD1 IAT (clear white plug with red/blue wires in cyl-2 intake runner)

But i will be using a OBD1 P72 ecu and not the OBD2B ecu if i cut the IAT plug on my 99 harness and put a plug from a OBD1 will that work or can i just don't plug it in at all?
