Is it hard to change the hood of an EK??
i mentioned in my other thread i was trying to transport a CF hood in my hatch, but I thought I wood just change it right there.
is it hard to do? i guess it's just the two bolts on each side?
is there anything i should watch out for?

Should fit up with minor adjustments. I'd just install on the spot

Yeah, as everyone has already stated, it's incredibly simple.
Takes 1 person less than 5 minutes to unbolt the stocker and bolt on the new one.
If it needs to be adjusted (mine didn't. Went on a year ago and I haven't done anything to it since) you can do that when you get home.

i think i will change it on the spot.
and the old one, i'm going to fold it up and throw it out... the reason i'm gettin a new hood is because a pickup truck backed into my hatch and left a nice big dent in it.
so there's no point in keeping it

You could use it as a sled next time it snows. Tie it behind a truck and go to a big parking lot that hasn't been plowed yet.

The adjustments that need to be made are not hard, you have to adjust it to fit with the proper gap all around so it (worse case) dosent close on your fenders and scratch or break the hood. and Most importantly so it will latch properly when closed.
When you first bolt it up slowly let it down constantly checking your gaps all around and just set it on the latch, then losen it up and move it as needed making a mental note of the height for a refference. Then push it down to lock it in place and go from there.
It really is simple you just have to be carefull you dont nick up the fenders or break the hood from being improperly aligned at first.
