i was thinking about painting the inside of my headlights black, like the blackhoused ones you can buy. a friend of mine did it to his celica, and it looks great. but i need to know how i can unseal them to open them up.

my friend said he put his in the oven. i don't know how hot or how long to do it for though, has anyone had experience with this?

 

depends on how long the glue has been on there..i put mine in the oven for bout 5-6 min on 250 bake

i did this when i first got my car and i baked it without a cookie sheet and the plastic melted

a blow dryer works also, but it just takes more time.
