coilover sleeve?
I'm just wondering how good are those tenzo-r coilover sleeve and skunk2 coilover sleeve? comparing it with just H&R lowering springs , which handles better for budget race use?
thanks
thanks
If you cheap out on suspension, it will **** you off to no end.
As far as the coilover sleeves go, they are mostly junk. The ONLY kind that are worth it are Ground Controls. They aren't too expensive, and you can get custom spring rates as well.

If your main concern is a nice comfortable ride go with lowering springs with some decent shocks/struts. If you want ablity to adjust height whenever and dont mind a little stiffer ride go with a good set of coilovers and a good set of shocks/struts. also if you are going to race definetly go with coilover set up . something like gc with koni yellows, tein ,jic or omni. Just my opinion though

the problem your going to run into is that your lowering springs willnot sit on the perch of the sleeves correctly, the sleeves and perches are desined for a very spicific spring, and although they make actully work till you get to the end of your block, you will die a misrable, horible, bloody death if you catch a pot-hole on the freeway!
if your on a tight budget (which is just STUPID when modifying suspension, i mean its only the saftly and wellbeing of yourself, and other people on the road were talking about) BUT IF YOU MUST, and your on a tight budget, opt for a coilover conversion, most reputable companys will give you everything you need, sleeves, perchs, springs with the correct tension rate, that are desined for what your attempting to use them for, bumpstops, upper mounts, ect... NORMALY in the price range of about 325 chickens! those along with new shocks (even cheap OEM replacments will do for a while) will give you a night and day diffrence between anything your gonna peice together, and;
OH GOD!!!! NOOOO!!! PLEASE, on behalf of all of honda-tech... for the love of your own ***... DONT CUT THE SPRINGS!!!!
