Axles
We have a race car that has about 800whp and need some after market axles for it. We have heard of gator but they are out of the stage five axles for about two weeks so does anyone else know of a good company we can go with?
Thank you for the help, we want to wait but we need the car to be ready for some test runs before we go to an event next month. Do you know any other company that any of you trust besides gator ? We thought about gator stage four but have concerns with that. The car went 10.3 with stage three axles with only 500whp. So do any of you how much there stage fours can hold, the car with driver only weighs 1875pds.
I had excellent luck with Drive Shaft Shop, yet I haven't seen anyone have much luck with Gators, especially at that power level. Drive Shaft Shop, Mark Williams, and Rob Moore are really about your only good options as far as I see it.

DSS hands down. They hold the power well and they are straight up beefy as ****, alot of the guys on this board that are making some good power run them. So if your going to spend all this money on a bad-*** turbokit and motor build just spend a little extra for axles. Ya and I know it hella expensive and money adds up quick when building a car.
i spoke with DSS today.....i have an older set of stage 5's with civic outers and prelude inners. the price they gave me to swap out the H inners for the B inners sounded pretty good.
he claims that the older style stage 5's are rated for 750whp and up to 26inch slicks. i'd like to see 700whp with my car this year....should i go for it? ive run on the same set of OEM axles for 2.5 years now, and i dont think honda intended for their stock axles to hold 600whp.
more or less my question is have you guys had good luck with the older style stage 5's?

Is a link to our website. You better order soon, these level 5's are going like hotcakes. I placed an order for 6 sets of these in the last 3 days. I ran these on my personal care for 3 seasons with 800hp and didnt have any problems. These are made of 300m which is getting harder to get so sometimes it takes more time for materials that why I say order them quick

If treat the DSS like you treated your stock axles you will not have ANY problems.

I have used the OEM for over a year, however, when you least expect; it will snap completly off by the spindle. It happened to me at the last IDRC. I decided to get the DSS stage 5 from Laskey Racing. Great customer service
