Is it true that there is no Bolt-On Turbo kit for the Prelude SH??

oh really...'cuz this one guy told me that there were now bolt on kits for the SH....

 

is a prelude SH a 2.3 or a 2.2???????/

 

I called one of the greddy dealers and they said they only make a turbo kit for the type S engine and it says right next to the picture of the turbo (non SH)

 

so does that mean that there is no kit for the SH

 

^ yes, unfortunately there are no kits for the prelude type sh. However, there are many kits available for the base prelude. sucks to be a sh!!
search dude, im sure this topic has been covered a gizzilion times.

 

Buy the kit based on your engine and then customise it where needed, you'll feel better for it in the long run having something that alot of people thought wasnt possible. http://www.homemadeturbo.com is your friend...

your gonna have to ditch atts if you want it tuned right.

 

The only difference or "adjustment" you'd have to make with all the base model kits is lengthening the downpipe to mate up with your exhaust. I personally have a RevHard kit on a 97 SH. I just dropped my car off at an exhaust shop and let them install full 3" exhaust. Then upgraded all the fuel stuff. It's really no big deal making a kit work on an SH model.

 

Yeah i was gunna say there are plenty of kits for the SH you just need to do a little bit of fab'ing yourself to get it to fit.

 

i cant wait for that day where people actually searches the web for simple spec questions they expect others to answer... hmm lets ask a simple question instead of googling it and wait for someone to reply... haha
