Default OEM Caliper Rebuild Kit Grease

1994 Accord EX

I ordered an OEM caliper re-build kit. It comes with all the seals I need, but I dont know which grease does what.

It comes with:
one packet of LIGHT ORANGE grease.
one packet of MAROON grease.

What is the light orange grease used for?
What is the maroon grease used for?

TIA.

I actually have the Factory Service manual. Seal grease and rubber grease are mentioned, but the coloring is not, nor are the packets I have labeled "Piston" or "Rubber" grease.

Apparently no one here knows what comes with an OEM re-build kit from Honda. Here's the answer from s2k forums for reference:

-Pins: silicone grease (Orange)
-Piston seal, Piston boot: rubber grease (Red)
-Pin boots: silicone grease (Clear Shin Etsu)

Well not to be rude but a rebuild can be avoided with maintnence. So many of us will never have to do it.

I would guess that about 90% of people never flush their brake fluid. Never change the transmission fluid. And don't change the anti-freeze nearly enough.

That's nice about the maintenance... but I got the car with 93k miles on the clock and none of it was under my control. Apparently S2ks have shitty enough heat dissipation in the rear calipers, that the rebuild kits are sold to the owners like hotcakes since the boot seal melts away during normal usage.
