Default Is it worth the extra money for itr pistons?

Since my gsr motor is apart because i have to rehone it and get new rings. I'm also getting new bearings. My friend said he can throw in usdm itr pistons with rings for around 300, and i was wondering if the 10.0:1 to 10.8:1 raise in the compression is really worth it? or should i try to get the jdm itr pistons b/c i know it bumps the compression to 11.3:1.

itr piston is my favorite for most b18 builds because of the price, skirt coating and reasonble compression they give. I say yes.

sorry didn't clarify, its a gsr block, on top of that will be a mildly ported gsr head.

i don't know if my friend could get those for the same price, and i dont feel like buying them b/c they're 300 without rings everywhere, and thats bank, and that would mean for a longer down time on my car.
