My girlfriend wants to bring her itr to the expo. The problem is she doesnt have a helmet. Is there any place to rent one at? She would only need it for the two days so buying one for 300$ would be a waste and cause her not to participate. I'm getting one that we could share but were both will be in the beginner class.
Any idea's or suggestions?

Does any of your friends ride motorcycle? Borrow on from them for the weekend. For CGI schools, I believe motorcycle helmets are acceptable as long as they are Snell 95 or newer.

 

I got a question for ya...how do you tell if the helmet if for motorcycles or for cars? I always thought if it had a snell and a dot rating then it is all good for the track and autox.

It says on the back of the helmet if it is SA or SM (correct me if I'm wrong) with A abbreviates Automobile and M for Motorcycle.

 

if i remember, i will bring 2 helmets. i just ordered a new bieffe predator helmet to replace my m95 hjc mushroom cap. i plan to donate the helmet to the local nasa club, but for now i'll keep it as a spare for friends.

Start - hell, HJC is my 2nd helmet $80 is hard to pass up when you are setting in a car!

 

It's not on the back of the helmet. It's on a label underneath the inside lining. And it's SA or M, not SM.
