I just put my stock intake system back on. Before I started, there was no problems with the a/c air system

So I put the stock intake in. Start up the car, but noticed the a/c/air didn't come on right away...it took it a second before coming on.


Then I start driving around, and the air just goes out. So I have to turn the **** off, then back on, the air comes back on, then after a few minutes, goes off again.

To make things even more strange, I noticed while in the garage that my parking light and sidemarker are on when this happens. Then when I turn the **** off to turn the air off, the lights go out, turn it back on...lights are still out, the air is working, then I hear a slight knock sound (like a relay going on and off) and the driver side parking light and sidemarker come on and the air goes out.

This is just freaking weird...anyone have any idea? I really don't want to have to pay honda to figure this out. I looked under the hood and couldn't find anything I could have yanked on by accident.

 

well, definitely am going to have to start taking things off and look around at the wire under the hood.

Either that or take it to Honda.


It's even weirder now. I noticed that while I have the turn signal on, that the a/c pumps air on and off repeatedly while the blinker is on (left hand turn signal). And The turn signal flashes like crazy...which usually means one of the bulbs is out. The front driver side one is out. So that will fix that problem...but for it to have gone out and cause this problem...tells me something is shorting it out maybe? I hope it's just some weird Honda thing and that light turns out to be the sole problem...but I have a feeling it's wishfull thinking.

 

I'm a freaking moron and deserve to get shot for such ignorance! I found my damn problem. I left the grounding wiring (has like 3 cable of wires going to it) that is near the wheel well of the car unbolted...I forgot to bolt it back up after removing the rubber grommet that the injen cai holds still on....damn, such a thing can cause such a problem!
