Hello all, I was wondering if the 280cc/min prelude fuel injectors could handle 200 whp? That is what I am shooting for after I get my obd1 ecu and tune it with a fields sfc. My set up is: cai,jdm 4-1,greddy evo,itr pistons, toda b,cam gears, fpr, carsound cat,and skunk im. This is in a 00 gsr.

So did I, I'd imagine the prelude injectors could handle 200whp, but why not just dish out the extra money and get some RC 310's or 370's if your goin hondata
I was considering getting a set of lude injectors... That's if you can gettem cheap, but I would rather spend another 50 to 60 bucks for brand new RC 310cc injectors, est. $340 clips included.

Prelude injectors ('97+) are 290cc/min and $150 a set readily available..... and they plug right in where the old 240 (itr) injectors did...

yea but will 290's handle a good 210whp w/ a 255lph pump?
.....try it. At worst, you can sell the lude injectors without taking much of a loss (if any).
azn, sure they're used - but they're meant to be used...
I would hope it can handle 200whps, because that what I will be using this summer and I am hoping for 190-200whps!!
ditto.

They're ~21% bigger than stock itr injectors.....
I could be wrong, but seemingly that would mean that they'd be good for at least 193.6whp on stock fuel pressures and duty cycle.....
To make 207whp on stock injectors, i needed about 80psi or so of pressure.
And the pump wasnt able to keep up very well. 290cc would be able to
take care of 200-210whp i would think. It really depends on your ECU program.

ok, I am pretty clear on the lude injectors, they look like they will do the trick. Do you guys think my stock gsr fuel pump will suffice? I don't imagine I will be cranking the fp more than 60 psi.....who knows?
How is the idle with prelude injectors on a B series motor? Will a SAFC be needed. Also, is a 12:1 fmu to much with those injectors or will a 10:1 be adequate. TIA
