Default Is there anyway to tell if its glazed or just worn?

Is there any way to tell if a clutch is glazed and not just old and worn without taking the tranny off? Like will it act differently than one thats just old an worn out?

A glazed flywheel/clutch material will slip and not want to hold under heavy load. You could also feel chatter while driving if it is really bad.
