well, im starting to think that the tranny that i have right now is from an accord. Reason beeing, because the fidanza flywheel didn't make any different to my acceleration. At highway cruishing speed and 3000rpm on the tach, im passing alot of people. My speedo doesn't work so i can't tell how fast im going. My old h22 tranny, at 3000rpm im cruising at 100km/h. Im sure people aren't cruising at 90km/h on the 401 when i pass them, cause the speed limite is 100km/h. Im passsing them fairly fast, not inch by inches. The tranny code has been ripped off since i bought it.

How much slower does the f22 tranny compare to the h22 tranny in the quarter mile?

Seller told me the tranny came from a 97 h22 base. Never came with speed sensor housing. I tried to swap over the housing from my 96 h22 tranny and it will not fit. Bought the housing from dealer for a 97 tranny and it will not fit. However it did fit in my old 96 tranny.

So my guess it either an h23 or an accord fanny.

i say try the accord speed sensor, and get some speed readouts, then post them up vs rpm and we can calculate gear ratios and figure out what tranny you have

 

i'll get a friend to cruise beside me at 100km/h.

 

so i finally did the cruise test with another car on the highway.
at 100km/h (60miles/h) i was reving at 2500-2600rpm in 5th gear.
at 90km/h iw as reving at 2100rpm.
I think i have the accord tranny
