Default Break in and used some Sysntehtic oil

I have a brand new H23VTEC motor. Its built for Boost. So far I have put 17 miles on it. I put in at first Honda 5-30w. I poured it in and drained it out, no start up yet. Then I filled it with 10-30W Honda Oil Sysnthetic. I started it and let it ideal for 15, then a few other times for 5-10 minutes. I recently drove it for 17 miles. Driving was easy and no Abuse.
My Question is,
Will I have problems by continuing with the 10-30W Honda Oil Sysnthetic?
Should I drain it and go buy some SuperTech and Continue the Break in Period?
I was reading and searching but did not find my exact situation.
Any help will be apperciated.
Thanks Fellas,

Synthetic oil is the worst thing you could ever use on a fresh engine. It is too slippery and will not allow for proper break-in.

So drain it and put in SuperTech? Or is it too late?

Run your conventional junk oil to break the engine in. 10w-30 is fine.

I would recommend putting in some regular oil in, running the engine for a few minutes, then doing another change to get all of the synthetic out of there.

I say run petroleum oil for 2k+ miles. The problem with synthetic oil is that it doesn't allow proper engine wear which is actually needed in a new or freshly rebuilt engine.

This is a complete guess though. Don't take only my word but the guy above said the same thing and he appear to know his stuff.

Breaking a motor in shouldn't really take 1000 miles. Its just a matter of getting the piston rings to set, correct? There are a lot of cars coming from the factory with full synthetic in the engine. All MB, AMG models come with synthetic out of the factory.
