No... I am not selling my NSR but I get pm's here and there from people that are wondering where they can get a plated grey market bike. Just posting this up since I want to see some of these bikes in the HT family. Here are a couple CA titled grey bikes I know of in the Bay Area that are for sale:

#1 - '91 VFR400R - $3500obo!!
(copy/pasted from my reply in Ash's thread)

Wouldn't touch a GSXR400 for all the tea in China. Nasty things indeed.

The only way is 2 stroke if you want to live the pukka experience.

i was watching an older ('95) chinese movie called "Full Throttle" and they raced a bunch of NSRs and TZRs in it. it really got me fired up about 2 strokes (despite their shortcomings) seeing how they're so flingable and tossable.. is there a chance i can find a mid 90s NSR250 or something in Canada? i've never seen them on the road before

i was indifferent about the movie when i saw it as a kid but as i got older (and learned how to ride) the movie has a different impact on me.. the action scenes were really great imo and not sped up. a definite must see for sport riding fans

Saw that movie awhile ago and made me want a NSR even more. Not sure where to look for grey bikes in Canada. You should ask around (forums, people) to see where you can source them and go from there. Expect to pay a pretty penny for one

The have so little tourque its nuts. Easy enough to work on but no use on the road. A stock NC would kill one in real life.

Can someone tell me about these bikes? I feel like an idiot, but I know next to nothing about them, besides that they are rare.

Anything that has a powervalve is a girls bike. You want a wild porting, carbon reeds and jets almost lean to experience the proper job.
