brakes?
I was not sure exactly what this fit under, but i saw a mustang today with black rotors. Not like it was just a break in material, but the rotors were black and it looked amazing. Anyone know about this?
It will look the nicest if you dissconnect the caliper from the hub (not the brake hose) & hang it from a coat-hanger wire inside the wheel well. Make sure to clean all the surfaces to be painted VERY well, and mask EVERYTHING that you don't want to be painted. Also make sure to mask off the wheel well & parts of your fenders that might be hit by overspray.
Do several lighter coats to avoid runs. Once you build up a couple light coats, one heavier coat should stick well & leave a nice shiny surface coat (unless your using matt finish paint).
Make sure to use a good high temp ceramic paint like engine or brake paint. Also, make sure to let it dry for a couple hours before you touch them. fingerprints are ugly & permenent.
