Painting Drum Brakes????
I want to paint my drum brakes, but had a few questions.
Do the drums get hot like the brake calipers in the front and what kind of paint would you recommend? Is regular Krylon paint ok for it. let me know

Re: Painting Drum Brakes???? (AK94GSR)
Well, my first recomendation would be to not do it at all. I think it looks cheezy. Save your lunch money and get a rear disk brake swap (it's only a few hundred $ using junk yard parts). If you are dead set on doing it though use any brake caliper paint. The drums do get hot and any regular paint won't work,, indeed, it might catch on fire (and that would kinda suck wouldn't it)

Re: Painting Drum Brakes???? (92sleepR)
I painted mine (krylon flat black) almost a year ago and they still look perfect. The key is to clean and sand them down really well first. I think flat black looks a lot better than the rusty look, but discs look even cooler.
