Turbo S2K on stock exahust?
Has anyone tried using their stock exhaust on a turbo S2K? i want to maintain the stock appearance and i do not want a loud exhaust. but i think that the stock exhaust is too restrictive.
i will be dumping the WG into the atmosphere.
Any help is appreciated.
Thx

The stock 60mm might be a bit restrictive on a turbo car. If you're going to go that far, why not fab a 2.75"/3" mid-pipe from the header to the exhaust split?
if you run a single exhaust it should not be that loud... the turbo typically cuts the exhaust pulses(sound) a lot......

this is what will be loud.....
EDIT: if you want to run the stock exhaust for that incognito look..... cut out all the resonators and bottle necks.....

Simon,
If you want to hear mine, let me know. It's really not very loud at all.
If you want a stock looking exhaust, the 3" Vibrant black mufflers would work well in the rear and a 3" borla fits well up front. That should be barely louder than stock, but flow MUCH more.

i'm going to see if i have extra $$ for tobi to fab me up a single exhaust like yours.
i tried to search for some pics of your car after tobi was done but it seems like all your threads have been deleted.
