Well I haven't posted pics of my ride very much lately, mostly because it's hardly changed in a long while. Well the past 5 months I've been rolling my stock GS-R wheels because the tires on my 16" C10's were worn out, and I never had the money to get new tires until now with my tax return, so I took a few snaps.
Currently I'm on my 2nd set of Yokohama ES100's on my 15" wheels, but this is the first time to get them in 205/45-16.
My 16" tires sat in a corner of my garage, mocking me, and then about 2 weeks ago, these new tires came to join in the fun:

There they sat for 2 weeks because I wasn't able to get them mounted right away... as you can see they are a touch wider than my old tires, 205/45-16 Sumitomo HTR-Z II's:

Don't need no stinkin' truck here boys

OMGHI2U 16's!!!
buh-bye, skinny@$$ stock 15's. It's been much too long, as these look sooooo much better than 6"-wide stock wheels

I also picked up a set of hubcentric rings from Discount Tire for $17 shipped. They are silver anodized aluminum, which you can barely see here. If you don't have these, GET THEM! I had slight vibrations in the steering wheel and passenger seat on the highway before, all gone with these in place

oh yes I barely got 4 wheels and 8 tires to fit in there... had to remove the rear shock tower brace and my sub box, and ride with the passenger seat folded forward.
And it smelled like new tires all up in my car, even w/ windows down

aw man you know I want them bad, but I don't have that kind of money to drop on body parts, that's if I could even find them. The sides and rears would probably cost me almost as much as my whole front end conversion w/ ITR lip did
However when I get my front end repainted hopefully soon, I'm going to be painting the factory sideskirts, as well.

They should last plenty long, especially since I'm not slammed anymore. My ES100's on my stock wheels have almost 25K miles on them and still have at least 40% tread left if not more. Keep in mind that the first 15K of that was slammed on GC's running -2.5 camber. So I think I should easily be able to get 35K-40K out of these, and now that I live close to work, that should be at least 2 years or more.
