Default H22a head on F22a block

Can you swap a H22a head onto a F22a block if its possible what will you need to make it work and will it perform like a H22

Yes it works.their are some threads over in the prelude forums stickied at the top of the page and will tell you everything you need to know about the head swap.

It won't perform like an h22 though.The bottom end of an f22 just isn't made to rev to 8000 rpm.and you will have less compression so less power.

the G-series can be torque monsters if you build it up right. piratemcfred made more torque than hp, but he used an h23/f23. prelittlelude did a h22/f22, but i dont remember his dyno numbers.

I did the swap and wouldn't you know it I have an H23 head for sale. You can use your Accord non-Vtec ECU and I have the working distributor the JDM H22 fuel rail and all nessesary parts to make it happen. Everythings for sale. Hit me up.

i got a f22/h22.... but yea... i had a f22/h23.... either one is ok... great for boost... just going the h23 route is alot cheaper...
