In need of the experts opnion's!!!!
here is my current set-up...H22a4
Type S pistons, rods, rings
Fully built Skunk 2 Head, skunk 2 cam gears, High compression valves, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, and stage 1 cams.
Milled head.
Throttle body bored out 65mm (www.maxbore.com)
Port and polished manilfold (removed butterflies) and port matched with the throttle body.
Mild port and polished head matched with the manifold and throttle body.
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Aem short ram intake w/ heatshield
Aem fuel rail
Aem fuel pressure regulator
Aem fuel filter
Aem pullies
Dc cermainc headers ( I know they suck)
MSD 6al and MSD external blaster coil
H23 tensioner manuel conversion
NGK copper plugs
MSD spark plugs wires
ACT clutch, stock flywheel
Test pipe with custom 2.5 in. exhaust
All tuned on NEPTUNE with P72 ECU
I'm not happy with my current set-up any more. I'm wanting more power. I'm thinking about going with skunk stage 2 cam's, RC 550c injectors, walbro fuel pump, CM clutch and ACT prolite flywheel, and to top it off i'm going to go with a JRSC. Would it be ok to supercharge that set-up with my type S pistons and milled head? I'm worried about detenation b/c of the high compression and the location that i live (Houston, TX) 100 degree summers. What about going turbo? I know i could upgrade to a bigger inner-cooler to deal with the heat but i would much rather go with a JRSC set-up. Any help from you guys would be gretly appreciated, thanks in advance

If you're going to stay NA, then yes better cams will help, a new fuel pump is a good safety upgrade, 550cc injectors might be a little too big (390 dsm, or some 450's are better). Then get yourself a better header.
If you're going to boost don't mess around with a Supercharger, get a turbo. Most people that supercharge end up going turbo because it is more efficient & nets larger gains. If you're going to boost sell your Type S piston block & get a lower compression block, USDM 10:1. Though a thicker head gasket is an option, I'd still suggest cashing in on your current block & using a cheaper stock block.
I've done the turbo thing, over 400 whp, then went back to NA. So if you drive your car on a regular basis & enjoy pulling through the turns I'd suggest sticking with NA, it makes regular drivin more enjoyable. If your goal is to blow the doors off of people in a drag, then boosting is the way to go.

you'll get a lot more and easier power out of a turbo, and i think 550cc injectors are too big for your na setup too.

I would figure out whether you want to be an all motor guy or a boost guy. Type S pistons + milled head + boost + 100 degrees = bad news for your motor.
