Default ranting about my gram lights

hey, I figured I'd share with you guys the list of problems I have with my new wheeels. I'm not trying to hate on rays but I am sorta mad, and wondering who exactly I should talk to about my problems and what should be done???

Ok well here is the story, I bought a set of 17" gram light 57c (gold), from a local shop. They where delivered to me yesturday, and I have 7 problems with what I have found. I know at the shop they opened one of the boxes to see if they where indeed the right wheel, but they didnt tamper with it, they left it exactly how it came.

Problem#1-
There is a large gouge on one wheel, which matches up perfectly with a large hole in one of the boxes that had tape over it. Its not on the face just on the outer edge and my tire will cover it but....I didnt pay for damaged wheels.

Problem#2-
I was thriled to see the detailed valvestems sent with the wheels. They actually say rays on them, to bad I only got 2 long, silver, valvestems that say rays. The other two are blue significantly sorter, dont say rays on the cap, and look like something out of the ricer section at wall-mart.

Problem#3-
I'm missing 2 sets of stickers for the lip of the wheel. For those of you that dont know what I'm talking about, here is a picture with the stickers on. There the blue stripes around the outside. http://www.forperformance.com/...l.jpg , I only have enough to do 2 wheels insted of 4.

Problem#4-
(this is a very **** one, but I feel it should be recognized)
For a wheel that costs $400 a peice, I was expecting more then plastic centercaps, I'm willing to get over the fact that there plastic, but one of the centercaps "RAYS" logo is offcentered unlike the rest of them.

Problem#5-
The centercaps came just thrown in a torn up bag that says "EXEDY" on it. As far as I know mackin industries doesnt doesnt distibute Exedy products, so I have no idea where the exedy bag came from.

Problem#6-
Only 2 of the wheels came in clear protective bags, the other 2 didnt.

Problem#7-
One wheel is missing the blue lip protector.

Again, I know some of these problems are small, some of them I can deffinitally get over, but when I paid $402.50 a wheel, I'd sorta like them to be perfect. However some things like the missing stickers, and different valvestems I deffinitally cant see past.

Thanks for listening....

Sounds like they were tampered with before delivery.

Hopefully the shop will pull through with the help of Rays.

alright well, we cleared this all up. The wheels are on the car and I love them, they look amazing, there light as ****, and I'm deffinitally still a fan of rays wheels. I'm far from mad at the shop, there an awesome shop, they gave me a good deal. All is well and ends well...I'd still recomend them 100%.

The shops been really good to me, I know they didn't do anything. I got most it it resolved.

I am still a little pissed that the gram lights stickers blew off the wheels using nothing more but the pressure from the garden hose. That happened after these pictures where taken.

Anyways heres some pics of the wheels

never got the rest of the stickers, pretty gay...

I can't give you an exact color code, it was based off of a vw gray, then changed a fair bit, also the car has 3 slightly different color white pearls in the paint.

good to hear that everything is resolved though.
