Default Why my car has lost power after engine repair??! :(

Hi,everyone!

There is a problem that bothers me for about two months now..
I my EG Civic with d16z6 ran faster than after engine repair and few mods..

I had to change oil rings for my d16z6 because of oil loss. So I decided to change piston rings and engine bearings. Mechanic had no problems by putting it together & even could turn crankshaft by hand when the engine was already screwed together. I also bought and installed OBX 4-2-1 header, full 57mm exhaust, lighten stock flywheel, d16y8 intake manifold, new spark plugs and wires and air filter.

So my Civic is slower now and gas mileage has increased!!!??

* ignition is adjusted already!

I want to do ECU programming,but I think I have to solve this problem before it..

So what could be possible problems???
I will appriciate any information and suggestions,thanks!

i wish i had better gas mileage..

run a couple test, compression test, leakdown, vacuum, see what the results are, if they're all good and you still cna't figure out why, just throw a turbo on there..problem solved</TD></TR></TABLE>im betting he means his MPG went down... but maybe hes complaining about it being higher..

Yeah.. sorry I guess mileage decreased. It was about ~8 liters/100km and now it's about 12/100
