I was wondering I am going to take apart my gsr tranny and I have bought a JDM ITR LSD, how do I tell if I am really getting a ITR LSD and not just a stock gsr one? Any markings? Also is USDM and JDM ITR LSD the same thing? I have heard they are and they aren't can someone clarify that for me?

 

Search LSD and you will find pictures of how a LSD looks like.

Once you opened up your GSR tranny and if the "JDM ITR LSD" looks lke the diff you have in your tranny, than your not getting a ITR LSD.

 

search but if you look through the hole and you can see straight through, its an lsd. iF a pin blocks your sight...its open diff.
