power steering to manual questions

Default power steering to manual questions

well i was wondering, i just removed my power steering and i have like 2 or 3 open holes where is used to be. i believe thats my steering rack or something. should i get a few bolts to plug them? what size? or what are my options

ttt, can i just put some fluid in the rack and put a bolt there to seal from the outside environment?

You shouldn't need to. I didn't think the fluid would leak if the bolts were out. A manual PS rack is always a nice idea. Not the cheapest thing, but steering will be easier.

what i was thinking was to leave some fluid in there to keep things lubricated and seal it w/ bolts

loop the 2 high pressure ones and get a little resivior and attach it to the 3rd line, it will give you looser than bolts and it will be properly lubed....also search is your friend, there are a large amount of write ups and one that is very good....

i tried searching but most of them are for 2 hole racks, i have three off an eg. should i loop all three then?
