might be a crazy K series question but...
I will eventully be swapping a k24a2 engine with a k20a head into my 96 Accord. I was searching for ITB's and I want to know if they will clear my hood, anyone know?

I know, thats why I worry about the Accord.

It will also depend on what set of ITB's you get. TWM's definately won't clear on an EG, but the Haywards will, not sure of the LHP set. The same may be true with the Accord.

OT: see your going to put a k20 head on the k24a2 block. are you only getting the k24a2 bottom end. if not. the k24a2 head is the same as the k20a vtec series. to me from the little research i came up with is a better overall head. smaller ports, less aggressive cams, less c.r. on the k24a2 still makes the same hp as the k20a2 which has slightly bigger ports and more agressive cams. so leaves more room for improvement on the k24a2 head (port work). you can see use all the k20a cams. just need to replace the veal seats and seals.

After all, you're putting the motor in, just cut the shafts on the itbs and angle them down more. I'm sure someone could pull that off for ya.
