Uh, Kevin told me his work around for the MAP sensor (since the kit I purchased was used and appeared to be missing it) but I was tired when he told me and have since forgotten.
I'll find out and get back to you on that.

Other than my concerns wit hthe MAP sensor, enjoy the setup. JRSC's are quite a bit of fun.
Any reason you went with a short ram over a CAI? From my experience with an AEM CAI and an AEM SRI, the performance aspects of the short ram were offset by dramatically higher intake temps. But to each thier own.
Once you tackle the exhaust, you will be even happier with your setup. You will see good gains from an "endyn modified" kamikaze header ($309) and a nice free flowing cat back. Just keep in mind that with the Kamikaze header there are often fitment issues.

No idea, Kevin told me that it was a theft salvage - the car is totally stripped. When I was there yesterday a guy showed up in a green snatchback with a PY front bumper and two fenders. After he unloaded them, he began to wipe them down with simple green or some ****.
That's all I know, I didn't want to be the n00b bugging these guys in the shop while they are trying to get some work done.
Next time I'm up there I'll poke around and see what's up.

My original plan was to run an ice box with the comptech SRI, but the bastards at comptech decided to make sure it didn't fit so I'd have to buy one specifically designed for their SRI.
I went with the SRI because most of the set-ups I saw out there were running them and during my research most of the write-ups suggested using them, the argument being that you want to be able to deliver as much air as possible into the IM.
Granted, colder charge means more power - but after everything I read, I told myself, "Hey, these guys have probably been modifying these cars for a while now and would have figured out what worked the best" and I went with it.
It's funny that you mentioned using a CAI because that's what Shawn told me as well.
Either way, I'm going to get a CAI (again, ugh I had an AEM 3" that I sold
) know of one that fits out of the box?

Hellz yeah, I've already got the header on order (shameless plug: Thanks ben@importparts.com!) and I'll be calling Mike up at Kteller here soon.
