Default intercooler Q's

whats up all. im an all motor guy thinking of crossing over to FI. anyway, i just have a quick question. is there a top mount intercooler for a '00 GSR? or do i have to get the piping made?

why do u want a top mount? you going to have a hood scoop?

i knew someone was going to ask that. i know its gonna look "ricey" with a scoop, but its gonna be a functional scoop. also its something different that not too many are doing.

im sure it will work and all, but prolly not as responsive as a front mount, you'll still get alot of hot air going through it, thats why u see the WRX's running front mounts now.

yeah i hear you. it sorta defeats the purpose of having a front mount to cool the hot air. but as of now. i really am just putting ideas. i might not even do it. who knows. just curious
