I'm looking to convert my DA from auto to manuel I have a b16a (gen 2) and the b18 auto tranny isn't workin for me, lol. Anyone have any recommendations for a shop in so cal, also what's the average price for such a conversion.

The average price range would be around $700 or $800...maybe more-and that's not including the parts; you need to gather a LOT of parts especially cuz it's a FWD. My friend is doin a tranny swap on his '87 supra right now. good thing it's RWD, theres not as much parts and its not as complicated. Do more research; I cant elaborate any further cuz I'm at work haha.

personally, if you do not have a lot of work done to your car, i would say to go out and buy a manual car and not have to worry about the conversion.
