Can anyone give me any ideas as to what is going on.Since yesterday when i drive my car under 3000rpm my engine check light comes on.When i start the car it comes on as usual and goes out.If i drive the car hard it doesnt come on.I have checked oil its ok the coolant is ok and the car is not overheating.
Any help before i go to a mechanic.

First off did you try searching ?
Another good start would be running the codes of the ecu and, seeing which codes the ecu is throwing

yep i have split one of the vacum hoses under the I.M.
