96 cx, LS swap, bogs. sitting for months, can anyone help???
we put an ls motor in a 96 cx hatch. the motor is from a 95 so its obd1, we are staying obd2 using a 97 LS ecu (p75 i think) the car starts fine but bogs badly when gas is applied. we have changed everything possible including the engine and still same problem, the ignition timing and cam timing is dead on. we changed the - fuel filter-o2 sensors-whole distributor-intake mani and gaskets-new TB-map sensor and tps-wires-plugs-spare ecu to test-new injectors too.. none if that fixed it. we rechecked timing many times. still bogs. we tried diff pressure regulators too. can anyone figure this out? the only thing i was not sure of is the throttle body is off an obd1 car using obd1 sensors (map and TPS) will this matter? also we did the IACV fix and the crank fluc. sensor is tapped into the other sensor in the dizzy which i found how to do on here. we get no CEL codes either.. anyone?
i say just use OBD1, with Ls, its hard to make an OBD2 LS work in civic chasis. Test out an OBD1 P28 ecu and see what happens
i have a 93 eg with a fresh ls swap thats doin the same exact thing i have been down the whole check list you have does anyone know wut is causing the issue mine is bogging a 5 grand everytime!
why would it be hard to make ls work? others do it so i know it can be done.. this bogs right off the line .. and in every gear .. ( the car is obd2 , the motor is obd 1)
